About Oak & Iron

Oak & Iron™ was built on a simple idea:
Make honest, rugged pieces that last — using real materials with real history

We work primarily with reclaimed whiskey barrel oak, steel, and iron accents to create functional pieces with character. No two items are ever the same. Grain patterns, barrel stains, aging marks, and tool marks are part of the story — not flaws to hide.

Every piece is designed to be used, enjoyed, and handed down.

Built by Hand. Backed by Experience.

We’ve been selling handcrafted goods online and at local events since 2008, long before “handmade” became a buzzword. Over the years, we’ve refined our process, listened to customers, and focused on building products that balance function, durability, and design.

In 2022, we began specializing specifically in whiskey barrel crafts, sourcing authentic barrels and turning them into bottle holders, bar décor, flight trays, openers, and wall pieces built to stand out.

Oak & Iron is not mass-produced. It’s made one piece at a time.

These photos represent how Oak & Iron has grown — from the workshop bench to local markets and festivals. Selling face-to-face has shaped how we build: products need to look good up close, feel solid in hand, and hold up to real use.

The same pieces you see here are the ones you receive when you order online.
